An online (virtual) course designed for all boaters, including paddle boaters, sail boaters, power boaters, those who fish, and those who enjoy personal watercraft. The course will be presented by experienced boaters. An optional 30 minutes will be set aside at the end of each session for students who wish to have their questions answered. All sessions will be recorded for student review.

The course is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators and recognized by the United States Coast Guard. It meets Pennsylvania’s requirements to obtain a Pennsylvania Boating Safety Education Certificate. The course will be presented by America’s Boating Club Valley Forge.

Many boat insurance companies will offer discounts on boating insurance to boaters who successfully complete America's Boating Course. This course provides a sound basis for continuing your recreational boating education.

Successful completion of the online, proctored exam is required to receive a Pennsylvania Education Certificate.

Pennsylvania Boating Safety Education Certificates are required to operate a personal watercraft and for persons born on or after January 1, 1982, to operate boats powered by motors greater than 25 horsepower
